Forget ball skills, David Beckham will show off his acting skills in Guy Ritchie's new film King Arthur

It seems there is nothing that David Beckham can’t do.
After making his mark on the worlds of fashion and football he’s now set to move into the big screen and show off his acting skills.
Victoria Beckham‘s husband is set to make a cameo appearance in Knight of the Roundtable: King Arthur.
The epic new Hollywood blockbuster will be directed by Becks’ close pal Guy Ritchie.
David has signed up for an unknown part in the action flick which will be set in the Middle Ages, alongside hunks Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law and Eric Bana.
The father-of-four has already worked with Guy before when he directed Becks in a raunchy ad for H&M in 2013, and is close friends with Madonna‘s ex husband.
‘There’s going to be a version of the scene where Excalibur gets drawn from the stone. This is where Beckham factors in,’ a source told The Sun.
‘There’s a little bit of sense that David’s character, who fancies himself as a big player in this story, gets a little ticked off when this other fellow, this upstart, is the one who can free the sword.’
Sounds amusing.
The 40-year-old is not the first member of the Beckham clan to make a foray into acting.
Wife Victoria starred in the genius Spiceworld so he has big shoes to fill.
Becks is also set to appear in the director’s new film The Man From U.N.C.L.E, which is due for release in August.
Expect a stampede at the cinema!
