Becks wasn’t the only one who struggled to keep it together…

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding was the perfect blend of British and American traditions – including a sermon from US pastor Michael Curry.

His passionate oratory was all about the importance of love and, although fitting for the occasion, it seemed many of Harry and Meghan’s guests were taken aback slightly.

Harry’s cousins Eugenie and Beatrice, David Beckham, Zara Phillips and Elton John were snapped with hilarious reactions on their faces as Pastor Curry gave his empowered speech.

Of course, it didn’t go unnoticed with Twitter users watching at home. One wrote: ‘Bea, Becks and Zara seem to be laughing at this bishop #RoyalWedding.’

And they weren’t the only one to spot Beckham’s reaction…

Another said: ‘Please show me more of David Beckham laughing please and thank you.’

And a third immediately spotted the social media potential of their reactions, writing: ‘I can’t wait for the memes. Zara Phillips’ expression… David Beckham laughing… The bishop who may yet still be orating tomorrow.’

While their expressions were undoubtedly animated, we’re sure all of Harry and Meghan’s guests were full of admiration as Pastor Curry spoke.

To be fair, David’s presence at the wedding was enough to cause absolute meltdown on social media. The retired footballer attended with wife Victoria, and looked beyond dapper in grey three-piece suit as he showed off his new shorter cropped hair.

‘Wanna just thank David Beckham’s parents for blessing us with their creation,’ gushed one, while another simply branded Becks: ‘The coolest man on the planet.’
